It has been a productive first half of the year here at Caplin. Read on to discover a host of new features available, and what else has been keeping us busy.
We understand that speed of price discovery and execution are of utmost importance when trading on behalf of customers. To cater for this our FX Sales workflow solution has been extended to cover more complex situations.
Sales users can now view and adjust margins for the underlying pairs of synthetic crosses, with the ability to lock underlying legs and have the cross recalculated based on the sales user margin adjustment. This feature has been added for all FX Cash product types.
Sales intervention has also been enhanced, both with synthetic cross pricing breakdown and a new layout. This gives the sales person a clearer view of the information required to make pricing decisions.
We are well known for our mature and fully featured FX trading applications, but we cover more than FX. We are now expanding to Money Markets (including Shari’ah), Fixed Income and Commodities, giving your customers a single point-of-call for their trading and post-trade activities.
FX Professional functionality has been extended as we aim to address end-to-end workflow efficiency for all customer segments from professional traders to SMEs.
Pre-trade settlement instructions, both for RFQ/RFS trading and ESP/1-click has recently been released, with the ability to set defaults per currency/pair.
Also newly available is block-trade template management allowing users to store and manage up to 100 templates with their profile, making repeated multi-leg trading more efficient.
For professional traders we are building out algo orders functionality, starting with TWAPs. This feature will be available both in our standalone front end, which can integrate with any EMS/OMS, and our full stack solution, Caplin One.
We’ve not just been building great new features! In parallel, we have been progressing with our core technology upgrade to React v18, and a migration to a new Figma-based design system.
Both these initiatives enable us to deliver customisations and enhancements to our customers more rapidly, whilst also offering a better user experience in terms of application responsiveness and design.
The EU is introducing new regulation around the accessibility of digital content, with businesses being required to be compliant from June 2025.
Please contact us if you deem this applies to your use of Caplin solutions to discuss how we can assist in meeting your specific requirements.
Finally, the latest major release of Caplin Platform is now available!
