Pipeline Concepts: Packages and objects

Pipeline functionality is split up into a number of areas:

• Builtin packages - these provide core functionality and are available to all pipeline scripts by default
• Library packages - these build upon the core functionality and need to be explicitly imported by pipeline scripts

Built in packages

The built in packages are as follows:

• DSData Update Packets
• DataSource Field Querying
• Transformer Cache Access
• Configuration database access
• System information
• Timer management

Library packages

• Event processing
• Logging routines
• Serialisation routines
