Recommended RET configuration
This page describes RET settings recommended for adapters created with the RET Adapter Toolkit. They should be configured by an administrator familiar with the RET administration applet.
RET users
The table below lists the RET accounts required to support a suite of adapters created using the RET Adapter Toolkit.
The RET usernames in the table are arbitrary and you are free to use any usernames you like.
RET user accounts do not support multiple simultaneous connections and so cannot be shared between applications and environments. As a result, each connection in a suite of RET adapters must use a unique RET user account, and you will need a different set of accounts for each environment. You may want to namespace your RET user names with the name of an environment, for example dev_username
, qa_username
, and prod_username
.
